WORLD’S TOUGHEST JUNIOR COMP STARTS THIS WEEKEND

What is widely acknowledged as the World’s toughest junior football competition begins this weekend with a total of 19 teams competing for the Harold Matthews Cup (under 16s) and S G Ball (under 18s).

Teams will compete over nine rounds and a finals series to decide the competition winners.

Both Harold Matts and S G Ball North Sydney Teams will face the Roosters, Tigers, Panthers, Knights, Sharks, Centurions, Western Sydney and the Eels. While in the 7th Round the Ball will face Melbourne and the Matts will face the South Western Sydney Academy.

The round one matches with the Roosters will be followed by the Bears NSW Cup trial against the Newtown Jets.
