VALE JAMES (JIM) SCHRODER

The North Sydney Bears were saddened to hear about the passing of ex-Bear and Life Member Jim Schroder on Sunday.
Jim (player number 597) was a big front-row forward who played for the Bears between 1962 – 1970. After retiring from playing first-grade footy, Jim went on to be a part of the North Sydney Bears Executive Committee and became a First Grade Selector for many years. He is often described as “a very kind bloke and larger than life”.
Jim will be farewelled by family and friends in Tumut on Monday.
The North Sydney Bears send our condolences to the Schroder family and thank Jim for a lifetime of support for the mighty Red & Black.

* Jim’s last name is actually spelled Schroder and not as recorded on his football card.
