The Club Person of the Year Award is presented to the person who has gone above and beyond for the Bears throughout the 2024 season. The deserving winner has been involved with the Bears and our Junior League for 21 years. In addition to his role as orange shirt trainer for our NSW Cup team, he also covers numerous areas across the football department that include, strapping, nutrition, medical supplies, filming of training, game day set up and so much more. Please join us in congratulating Brent Banning on winning the 2024 Club Person of the Year Award!

Over the last 5+ years nothing has been too much trouble for this person, as they helped the club across game day, community, corporate and football events. If it was a last-minute request or an out of the box task that needed to be done, there was always someone we could turn to. Bringing warmth and a welcome smile to everyone they encountered, a true affection for rugby league and the mighty Bears, the Community Appreciation award goes to Mary Finkelsen!

This season we asked fans to vote for their favourite player after each of our 12 home games with the culmination of votes to award the 2024 Member & Fan Voted Player of the Year Award. This guy was a fan favourite each week for his lightening quick pace, try scoring ability and fun fan engagement. The winner of the 2024 Knock-On Effect NSW Cup Member & Fan Voted Player of the Year Award is Allan Fitzgibbon!
