Our SG Ball team took to the field in the peak heat of the day to go up against a well drilled Storm side. The game was well matched for the first 20 minutes, Captain Billy Arena got the Bears on the board for the start of the 2024 season. However, the game got away from the Bears as the clock clicked over towards the half time hooter. The second half brought reprieve with the boys answering the Storms second half two tries with two of their own by Tyreece Arama and Quinn Mersal, ending three tries down to the boys from south of the border.
