We are excited to confirm three new late season player signings on for our NSW Cup team. In the NSW Cup competition, players are allowed to be transferred up until 30th June each year.
KIERAN HAYMAN: We have welcomed back Kieran Hayman into our Cup team. Hayman played in both our 2023 and 2024 Grand Final teams, having also featured in the red & black player pathway programs including SG Ball. In 2025, Hayman was recruited by the Tweed Seagulls with the aim to make his NRL debut with the Gold Coast Titans. Hayman played 53 NSW Cup games with the Bears from 2022 – 2024 and has signed on for 2025 and 2026.
ETHYN MARTIN: Ethyn Martin is a young back, originating from New Zealand, who has been with the Parramatta Eels, having played eight NSW Cup games for the Eels. He is lightning quick and will be a great asset on our wing.
AITASI JAMES: Tough, young prop forward Aitasi James brings some NRL experience to the Bears having played a handful of NRL games with Wests Tigers and Manly Sea Eagles. Replacing Ben Talty, who recently left the Bears to seek an NRL debut with the Brisbane Broncos, James brings size and strength to the Bears forward pack. He has signed on for 2025 and 2026.
