2025 KOE NSW Cup: Round 2

We are now only six sleeps until kick off! Head Coach Tony Barnes has named his Tuesday team for our first big clash of the 2025 Knock-On Effect NSW Cup competition when we take on fellow foundation club Sydney Roosters at Wentworth Park this Sunday. The boys have been working hard since November last year, in the gym, on the field and in the video room. And now they get to put it all into action on game day. 2025 NSW Cup Team Announced

As our club embarks on our 117th year, we are excited for what 2025 is set to bring. On Wednesday 19th February we brought together our corporate and community partners, our members & fans, our board, staff and our playing group to help kick off the 2025 season and celebrate another year in the red & black. 130 people attended the launch held at Depot Brewery in Artarmon, a new partner of the Bears that we will formally launch in the coming weeks.

2025 Season Launch

NSW Cup 2025 Trial Games

Get ready for your first taste of senior Bears footy for the season as we play two trial games two weekends in a row. These trials will give our team a great 80 minutes of footy each game in preparation for our round 1 game on Sunday 9th March when we take on the Sydney Roosters at Wentworth Park.

Michael Buettner Awarded OAM

The North Sydney Bears would like to congratulate Michael Buettner (Player #924) on his much-deserved Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) presented at 2025 Australia Day Honours for his outstanding service to the community and sport.
