BEARS SELECTED FOR WOMEN’S ORIGIN

The North Sydney Bears would like to congratulate Kirra Dibb and Shontelle Stowers who have been selected in the NSW Women’s State of Origin side.

This is a huge achievement for both players after they were selected in the Women’s National Championships last week.

Kirra and Bears captain, Shontelle, have impressed for the Bears and have been pivotal in their dominant start to the Harvey Norman Women’s competition, both will be making their debut for NSW.

Kirra will be playing five-eighth whilst Shontelle, usually a centre, has been named in the second row.

New South Wales take on QLD at North Sydney Oval on Friday the 21st June. Kick off 7:45pm. We encourage all Bears fans and Members to get down to North Sydney Oval to cheer on Shontelle and Kirra, click here to purchase tickets.
