Sunday the 9th of August saw the Bears return to home soil for the final instalment of the Jason Taylor Cup, with the side looking to reclaim the trophy in front of their home crowd. The Bears rose to the occasion, running in eight tries to secure a commanding 48–16 win.

RND 23 2026 – KOE NSW Cup Team List
The Bears hit the road on Saturday, travelling to the Newcastle Knights Centre of Excellence where they claimed a 34-16 win over the Newcastle Knights. Sitting in third place and just two competition points behind North Sydney, the Knights presented a significant challenge, making the win all the more important. The high energy in the sheds after full-time reflected just how much the result meant to the playing group.

Sunday's Danny Met Sally Community Partners Round was everything Bear Park is about—community, inclusion and plenty of red and black pride. This Saturday the Bears travel to Newcastle for a blockbuster second-versus-third clash with the Knights. RND 21 2026 – KOE NSW Cup Team List
Refreshed after a well-earned bye, the Bears are ready to return to Bear Park this Sunday. We're excited to welcome Jake Toby back in the No. 1 jersey, while Jayden Yates returns at hooker in the No. 9, adding plenty of experience and strength to our starting side. This Sunday we take on the St George Illawarra Dragons as we celebrate Danny Met Sally Round and recognise our valued Community Partners. It's set to be an action-packed afternoon with something for everyone. Join us at 2:00pm for our World Record attempt, experience Wheelchair Rugby League, and enjoy a range of inclusive activities and plenty of purple fun with the Danny Met Sally team.

There was a special atmosphere at Bear Park on Sunday as more than 60 Old Bears returned to North Sydney Oval for the club's annual Bears Legends Day, celebrating generations of players who have proudly worn the iconic red and black. Inspired by the occasion, the Bears produced one of their best opening halves of the season and went on to bring home the win on the day.

The old saying goes that rugby league is played in all conditions, and on Sunday afternoon at Bear Park, the mighty red & black proved exactly that. With rain bucketing down, a biting wind sweeping across North Sydney Oval and two fierce rivals refusing to give an inch, the Bears dug deep to claim a gritty 12-10 victory over the Bluebags in the opening chapter of the 2026 Frank Hyde Shield.

RND 18 2026 – KOE NSW Cup Team List
The Bears travelled to Scully Park, Tamworth, over the weekend to take on the Melbourne Storm in Round 17 of The Knock On Effect NSW Cup; the Regional Magic Round. In front of a passionate crowd and lovely playing conditions, the Bears went into the break trailing by just eight points before the Storm pulled away in the second half to claim a 43–22 victory.

The Bears continued their strong run of form on Saturday afternoon, travelling to Redfern Oval to take on the Rabbitohs in Round 15 of The Knock-On Effect NSW Cup. After overcoming a determined Roosters side in a high-quality contest, the Bears will now turn their attention to this week's challenge. Round 15 will see the boys travel to Redfern Oval to take on the Rabbitohs in the second and deciding match of the Mario Fenech Cup. After suffering a narrow defeat in the opening clash a few weeks ago, the Bears will be eager to bounce back and reclaim the trophy after winning the Cup in 2025.

RND 14 2026 – KOE NSW Cup Team List
The Bears take on the Roosters on Sunday the 7th of June. Currently sitting sixth on the ladder, the Roosters will provide a strong test as the Bears look to secure two more valuable competition points.

RND 13 2026 – KOE NSW Cup (Bye)
On Sunday afternoon, the Bears faced the Rabbitohs in the opening clash of the Mario Fenech Cup at 3pm. In a tightly contested match, the Rabbitohs came away with a 16-12 victory in a low-scoring affair.

RND 12 2026 – KOE NSW Cup Team List
The Bears took centre stage on Saturday at 4pm and delivered a strong all-round performance, defeating the Roosters 36-24 in Round 11 with an impressive six-try display at home.

The Bears delivered a dominant performance in Round 10, powering to a commanding 46-10 victory over the Parramatta Eels at the James Hardie Centre of Excellence in Kellyville on Saturday afternoon.

RND 10 2026 – KOE NSW Cup Team List
The Bears were narrowly defeated 22–18 by the Bulldogs in a hard-fought Round 9 clash at Accor Stadium last Friday. In a tightly contested encounter, both sides traded momentum throughout, but the Bulldogs edged ahead in the final minute to secure a hard fought win.

The Bears continued their outstanding start to the season with a convincing 40–22 victory over the Warriors in Hamilton New Zealand, overcoming the challenge of playing on the road to secure another crucial two competition points.

RND 8 2026 – KOE NSW Cup Team List
After a bye this week, the Bears have had an opportunity to reset following their strong win over the Raiders at North Sydney Oval. The team now travels to New Zealand to face the Warriors at FMG Stadium Waikato on Saturday at 10am (AEST).

RND 7 2026 – KOE NSW Cup (Bye)
The Bears delivered an impressive performance, securing a 40–24 victory over the Canberra Raiders to move into third place on the ladder with four wins from five matches.

RND 6 2026 – KOE NSW Cup Team List
After Round 5, the North Sydney Bears sit in third place on the ladder and now turn their attention to Sunday’s clash. The match marks their first home game of the season at North Sydney Oval, where they will face the Raiders with a 3pm kick-off.

The North Sydney Bears junior representative sides wrapped up their 2026 campaigns on Saturday, hosting the Knights at Hills Grammar, Kenthurst in the final round of the regular season.

After a bye, our junior representative sides return for the final round at Hills Grammar against the Knights, with all teams chasing another win. The Tarsha Gale Cup side looks to keep finals hopes alive and the under 16s academy faces the Dragons at 9:00am.

RND 5 2026 – KOE NSW Cup Team List
The North Sydney Bears secured a convincing 32–14 win over the Dragons in Round 4 of the Knock-On Effect NSW Cup to move into 4th on the ladder, and will now face the Manly Sea Eagles in Round 5 at Lionel Watts Park.

RND 4 2026 – KOE NSW Cup Team List
The North Sydney Bears face the Dragons in Gerringong this Saturday the 28th at 1pm, in what shapes up to be a tough clash against an in-form side.

RND 8 – Junior Reps (BYE)
It was a challenging Round 7 for the North Sydney Bears junior representative sides, with all four teams falling short against strong Sydney Roosters outfits across the weekend. While the results did not go in the Bears’ favour, the teams now have a bye before heading into the final round of the regular season on Saturday 4th April.
