Junior League thriving in the Bears region!

Rugby League thriving in the Bears region!

There are some great results coming out of the North Sydney District for junior league registrations.

The North Sydney District was the first district in NSW to surpass their 2018 registration numbers and are already up 12.1% on the previous year with over 1,000 registrations and counting!

It is also great news for women’s rugby league as female registrations in the North Sydney District are up 272% year on year. We are sure the success of the Bears Harvey Norman Women’s team will only help improve these numbers.

The North Sydney District is seeing growth across the board as 7 out of the 8 clubs have grown in registrations and team numbers this year. This is largely thanks to the very dedicated and proactive volunteers and a well-run family focused clubs.

Junior league is an inclusive and fun sport for both girls and boys aged from 4 years up. All coaches are professionally accredited and on the field until age 8 and adhere to the SafePlay code.

Junior clubs in the North Sydney District include Asquith Magpies, Berowra Wallabies, Hills Hawks, Ku-ring-gai Cubs, Lane Cove Tigers, North Sydney Brothers, Pennant Hills Cherrybrook Stage and the Willoughby Roos.
