New Player Announcements for 2020!
This week we have two re-signings and a fresh face!
In the Canterbury Cup Elih Jackson has signed for 2020. Elih has progressed through the Sydney Roosters under 20’s system in 2019. The 21 year old lock debuted for the Bears in 2019 and played 10 games at the back end of the season. Elih is a no nonsense hard working forward and we are looking forward to seeing him develop further in 2020.
In the Harvey Norman Women’s Team Josephine Maejiirs returns to the Bears in 2020. Josephine is back for her third season for the Bears and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in the women’s game. The Fijian international forward has been a main stayer in our squad for the past two seasons and we look forward to seeing her again in 2020.
New to the Bears is outside back Josh Bergamin coming from Wentworthville Magpies NSW Cup in 2019. Josh has a wealth of experience in NSW Cup with over 40 games for Wentworthville and the Canterbury Bulldogs. We look forward to seeing Josh in the Red and Black in 2020.
