Our Women in League Round will be held on Sunday 21st June at North Sydney Oval and we are seeking approx 3 Women in League sponsors to make this event meaningful.
This special day is about far more than rugby league. It is a celebration of the incredible contribution women make across our game, our community and local business networks. Your support will help us create a fun, engaging and memorable game day experience for players, families, volunteers and supporters from across the North Sydney district.
One of the highlights of the day will be the opportunity to showcase our future stars, with female junior rugby league and league tag players aged 7–18 taking to the field before the main game, Bears v Panthers, kicks off at 3pm. For many of these young girls, the chance to play on such a historic and iconic ground is something they will remember for the rest of their lives. Your sponsorship will directly contribute to making these experiences possible.
Importantly, the event will also support our valued community partner Mary’s House Services, with fundraising activities including a raffle featuring fantastic prizes and a traditional bake sale proudly run in conjunction with volunteer students from Monte Sant’ Angelo Mercy College. Together, we hope to raise meaningful funds and awareness for the important work they do supporting women and families in need.
Adding to the occasion, the Bears Legends Lounge will be transformed into a dedicated Women in League networking event, bringing together female advocates, local business leaders, community partners and volunteers from across the North Sydney Junior Rugby League district. It promises to be an inspiring and powerful gathering of people passionate about strengthening our community through sport.
