Danny Met Sally Inclusivity Round at North Sydney Oval
Join us at North Sydney Oval on Sunday 18th May for the inaugural Danny Met Sally inclusivity round where we will be rolling out the VIP treatment for Bears fans living with disability and their families, carers and friends. Through our partnership with Danny Met Sally, we are excited to offer some exciting activities on this event day to allow people (adults and children) living with disabilities the opportunity to be involved firsthand in a Bears home game day. Find out more and register your interest to participate below.
A Message From Rick Dalton, CEO Danny Met Sally
We are incredibly proud to be one of the major sponsors of the North Sydney Bears for the 2025/26 season—and hopefully beyond. This partnership represents our commitment to raising awareness, promoting accessibility, and fostering equal partnerships for all individuals with disabilities, not just our DMS clients.
Through this sponsorship, we have a variety of opportunities to create memorable moments for people with disabilities, alongside their beloved Bears and the wider community. This initiative is for more than just DMS clients and staff; it’s for all Bears fans and the broader disability community. We’re looking for volunteers with disabilities to become active partners in our sponsorship with the Bears. Some of the exciting opportunities include:
- Coin Toss at the start of the game
- Leading the players onto the field or Forming Guard of Honour
- Enjoying the sensory room during the match
- Helping the team as a Gear Steward
If you have loved ones with disabilities and want to be involved with the Bears, we’d love to hear from you. Please share your expressions of interest by clicking the link below.
This partnership offers multiple opportunities throughout the year, not just during the DMS round. We’re committed to representing the disability community, and this is your partnership, not just ours.
