Matt Stimson will reach a huge milestone tomorrow when he takes on the Newtown Jets in the Knock-On Effect NSW Cup Minor Semi Final at Leichhardt Oval. Stimson is now in his third season with the North Sydney Bears, having joined the club after playing 31 NSW Cup games with the Penrith Panthers prior.

Stimmo’s contribution to the team and club has been immense, becoming a key leader both on and off the field and earning a spot on our 2026 leadership team this season. Now, he’s set to bring up 100 NSW Cup games – a fantastic achievement for a player who continues to give everything to the Bears. Congratulations on an incredible milestone, Stimmo.
