We had a brilliant time at our Bears Golf Day held on Thursday 12th June at Monash Country Club on the Northern Beaches. Some excellent performances on the greens while also raising money for our Red & Black Foundation that underpins the growth of rugby league in the North Sydney District.

It was an early start with guests meeting at 7.30am for am Egg & Bacon Roll and much needed tea and coffee. A few warmups completed on the putting green and we were ready to tee off at 8.30am. Playing 18 holes under Ambrose Rules the teams got underway. Each team was also given a survival ball with the last team still holding the ball at the end of 18 holes winning a prize.

The chilly morning lifted to a sunny day on the golf course with a good time had by all. After the sport component was completed, the hungry golfers enjoyed a delicious buffet lunch back at the Club House, washed down with Bear Park Beers and Stone Skimmer Wines.
