Round 1 saw our Junior Reps teams take on some red-hot squads at Hills Grammar. All four of our junior reps teams got their 2025 seasons underway in front of packed stands filled with fans grateful to see footy back again. Our female pathway teams both took on formidable Canterbury Bulldogs squads who proved too strong for the Bears. Lilly Wilson was our female pathway program first try scorer of 2025, getting Tarsha Gale on the board in the second half. Our girls showed great growth and the promise of a good season to come.

Harold Matts and SG Ball went up against strong Sydney Roosters teams in their first clash of the season. Matts walked away with a very close hard-fought win with tries by Cohen Riddell, Noah Tafengatoto and a hattrick by Isaac Khoudair. Saxon Gaw converted 3 from 5. SG Ball faced one of the strongest teams in the comp with an early taste of what skill and speed the top teams bring in this level of footy. Aiden Crowley and Mustapha Hawchar got the Bears on the board with both tries converted. Our U16 Academy will play their first game of 2025 at Four Pines Park, Brookvale against Manly Sea Eagles this Saturday. This team consists wholly of local North Sydney District players as part of our development squad program.

Our 4 Junior Reps teams will be back again this Saturday at the summer home of the Bears, Hills Grammar School.
