Important COVID Protocols at North Sydney Oval

To ensure the safety and enjoyment of all attending North Sydney Bears home games at North Sydney Oval in 2021, we have implemented a few new rules and instructions:

Firstly, you NEED to stay home if:

  • You’ve had a COVID-19 test and waiting for the results
  • You’re feeling unwell
  • You have been in contact with a suspected or confirmed COVID-19 case in the 14-days leading up to a game
  • You have returned from overseas in the 14-days leading up to a North Sydney Bears home game.

Additionally, where possible, please pre-purchase your matchday tickets and show up to the ground at least 30 minutes before kick-off.

We suggest taking out a North Sydney Bears Membership or purchasing single-game tickets from HERE. This will minimise queuing and crowding at the gates.

We will have EFTPOS/Credit Card terminals at all food and drink outlets as well as at the Merchandise & Membership stall.

You will also need to practise physical distancing at games. You may sit with a group of friends attending the game with you, but for the safety and comfort of others, we recommend you keep at least two seats away from anyone in your row that you don’t know. The Hill at North Sydney Oval is limited to a maximum of 600 guests and will be allocated on a first in policy.

Try not to linger in crowded areas or wander around North Sydney Oval. We recommend you stay in your chosen spot unless using the toilets, visiting food and drink outlets, the merchandise stall, or other amenities. Likewise, eating and drinking should only be done in your allocated seat while we encourage you to practise high-level hygiene, including washing your hands and/or using sanitiser regularly.

Lastly, remember to be responsible for not only your own safety but those around you, and together let’s keep rugby league playing for all to enjoy in 2021.

GO YOU BEARS!
