    NOTHING BETTER THAN BEAR PARK
    NORTH SYDNEY OVAL

For those that have experienced it, you know what we are talking about, and for those yet to enjoy what a home game day at Bear Park is all about then check out the video below. The atmosphere, the pure enjoyment, the sense of belonging to a real club, that’s what you get when you go watch the Bears play at North Sydney Oval. All these years, and we still get that feeling when the players run out of the tunnel and on to the field. The cheers from the crowd as the mighty Bears run a try in under the Moreton Bay Fig is something you need to be there to not just hear but really feel, the winter sun beating down as you enjoy a beer on the hill with like-minded mates, the kids with faces painted, smeared in tomato sauce from enjoying a delicious pie, kicking a ball on the hallowed turf of Bear Park at half time brings a smile to everyone who is lucky enough to witness it. Come feel it too, be a part of what makes an afternoon out at Bear Park so wholesome.

This Sunday we go up against fellow foundation club the Western Suburbs Magpies in the final of the Jason Taylor Cup. Before the main game, we are hosting local club Asquith Magpies as they take on Cromer Kingfishers in the A-Grade. Miller St Gates open at 11.30am and entry is only $5 until 12.30pm! Come along early, skip the queue, grab some lunch from our mates at The Greens who will be serving up gourmet pies, kranskys with all the trimmings and the best donuts around, and enjoy the local footy.

Bears are coming off the back of four losses in a row, the team is busting to sing the team song and drive back up the ladder. Come out and support the boys as the Red & Black take on the Black & White this Sunday.
