As all of the rugby league world looks to Vegas this weekend, we are proud to have the Bears represented too. In a club first, the North Sydney Bears have partnered with the Boston Thirteens in a move that will see the team play in the NRL Vegas 9’s tournament as the Boston Bears. Wearing our iconic red & black hoops and featuring a bespoke version of the Bears shield logo on the chest, with the addition of the text “Boston”, the team is set to make headlines. The jerseys were made locally in Australia by our on-field kit partner Sinalli, and represent the USA based rugby league club with their logo on the right chest, upper back and BOSTON text above the number. The team’s jerseys are sponsored by the locally renowned Boston venue Dillons.

“In an historic move, we are excited to have partnered with the Boston 13’s for the NRL Vegas 9’s competition and are proud to see the team wear the Bear on the big stage” stated our CEO Gareth Holmes. “This initial tournament-based alignment is set to progress on to a more formal “brother club” partnership with the Boston 13’s in which we will open up coach development and a player pathway between the two clubs.” Holmes went on to say.
