Ken Irvine Inducted into the NSWRL The Star Hall of Fame

Ken Irvine is regarded as Australia’s greatest ever winger and his speed is considered legendary.

Ken Irvine, a North Sydney Bears legend, has been honoured with his induction into the NSWRL The Star Hall of Fame.

Irvine made his debut for the Bears in 1958, playing 178 matches and scoring 171 tries during his 12 years with the club.

Ken holds the standing Australian record for the most number of tries in a first-grade career – 212

Irvine was inducted into the Australian Rugby League Hall of Fame in 2004 and in 2006 he was named as winger in the North Sydney Bears’ Team of the Century.

On top of his achievements with the North Sydney Bears, Irvine represented his state 24 times and his country 31 times. We can all agree that Ken Irvine is a deserving inclusion into NSW Rugby League’s history.
