What are you looking forward to about the new season?

Looking forward to in the new season: continuing to build with the same group of girls from 2020, seeing the new faces coming into our team and how they contribute to the culture we have, and continuing to learn and build on my skills with the new coaching team that we have.

What did you learn or take away from the unusual year that was 2020 and will carry forward with you into the future? 

Unusual year and what I’ll take with me into 2021: that football certainly has its highs and lows, to ride with them during the season and to enjoy the process. I’ve learnt that the girls are much bigger and stronger than anticipated haha, but enjoyed the challenge of the contact. To be a sponge, take on board everything I’ve learnt in 2020 from our short season and take back what I learnt as a development player with the Warriors.

What are you looking forward to outside of rugby league in 2021?

Look forward to outside of football: becoming an Aunty. My sister is due in January so I’m really excited to welcome a new little Bear into our family.
