For the 2023 season we are releasing a new range of limited edition official club jerseys. Each jersey represents a part of our mighty 115 year history and tells a story of the red & black.
When you purchase official club merchandise, you are directly supporting our players, our teams and our club. All funds raised from merchandise sales go towards supporting the Bears and ensuring we are able to provide the highest level of performance facilities and coaching for our players.

The new 2023 Players Home & Alternate Kit will be released in early March ahead of the Knock on Effect NSW Cup competition kicking off. Two new great designs to come.

2023 MEMBERS JERSEY
In 2023 our Members Jersey acknowledges both the 80 year anniversary of our mighty First Grade 1943 Grand Finalists and the 30 year anniversary of our champion 1993 Reserve Grade Premiers! Two history making teams featured on one jersey, made exclusively for members of our great club.
Within the rear number square, both games are celebrated and the players acknowledged. The list of Bears Legends featured on this jersey is simply mind blowing!
Each jersey can also be personalised with the Members full name (First and Last) featured at the centre placket on the front and a name of your choosing (Surname, Nickname, Players Name) across the upper back. The jersey also proudly features the club logo, NSW Cup logo and our NS 1908 heritage logo.

2023 ANZAC JERSEY
For the first time in the history of the North Sydney Bears, we are releasing our inaugural ANZAC Jersey to commemorate the 80 year anniversary of our 1943 Grand Finalist team. This jersey is steeped in red & black history featuring the black V of the 1940’s era, a photo of the 1943 team with players names listed on the back and a remembrance of all those who served for Australia on the front.
Our Knock on Effect NSW Cup team will wear the players version of this jersey at our ANZAC Day match on Sunday 23rd April.

1943 HERITAGE JERSEY
Over 60,000 people crammed into the Sydney Cricket Ground to watch Newtown play North Sydney on the 4th September 1943 for the first grade Grand Final. World War II was still raging in Europe and across the Pacific and so people turned to league for light relief and entertainment. All service people who attended in uniform were granted free access to the game, with police closing the gates to the ground a whopping 2 hours before kick off leaving thousands of fans outside of the ground.
North Sydney were led by the great Frank Hyde who acted as Captain/Coach, however were missing two stars on active service who had contributed to our season’s performance – lock Harry Taylor and full-back Neville Butler who was killed in an Air Force action not long before the Final. Newtown were the stronger team on the day, defeating the Red & Black 34 – 7. It was Newtown’s 3rd and last premiership.
This traditional style jersey was worn for much of the 1940’s and came into fashion with most rugby league clubs of the era due to fabric rations. No logo is featured on the chest as per the time, however the classic round logo is located on the inside collar for nostalgia. Presented in knitted cotton fabric with long sleeves and a white canvas collar.
