Brock Lamb released to take up English Super League opportunity

Today the Sydney Roosters announced the release of halfback Brock Lamb which allows him to pursue the opportunity of playing for the London Broncos.

The release is effective immediately and Brock will be leaving for London this week.

Brock made 16 appearances for the Bears in the 2019 season scoring 5 tries and 111 points as the half back and goal kicker for the side. He currently leads the Canterbury Cup NSW competition in kicking metres.

Bears Head Coach Jason Taylor spoke of why Lamb is leaving the Club at this time, “Brock has been an asset to the North Sydney Bears and a pleasure to coach this season. Due to unique timing and visa restrictions he has had an opportunity arise that won’t be there unless he takes it this playing season. We wish him all the best with his future in the UK”.

The North Sydney Bears would like to thank Brock for his contributions to the Club and wish him all the best for the future.
