Cementing our Female Pathway Program
Yesterday marked the next step in our drive to develop a strong and true pathway for our female players, with 4 of our inaugural Tarsha Gale Cup players joining our Harvey Norman Women’s Premiership team for the 2022 season. Sienna, Bella, Chloe and Shabar have absolutely shined during the Tarsha Gale comp this year impressing our HNWP Head Coach, Rob Capizzi, and were selected to take the next step in their rugby league careers.
Ensuring the North Sydney Bears provides a complete pathway for female players all the way from grassroots junior league, through to our HNWP team and then on to NRLW is of utmost importance and a pivotal aspect of our Red & Black Foundation.
Today these ladies will play in our women’s first trial game of the 2022 season before the HNWP competition officially starts on Sunday 24th April, kicking off at 12pm at North Sydney Oval.
