New Player Announcements for 2020!

Another great re-signing from the Bears is youngster Tom Steadman. Tom is fresh from the under 20’s team and ready to make his mark in the Canterbury Cup competition. Tom is a crafty half back with a solid kicking game and the ability to lead the team around the park.

Nick O’Meley is back at the Bears for 2020 after 6 appearances in the CC team in 2019. Nick highlighted his season with selection in the Australian Universities national team which toured the UK in 2019. Nick is a utility value to the team as a lock, centre or winger.

2019 was the first year Aliti Namoce played in the NRL ending up in the Representative NSW City side and also making her NRL debut for the Sydney Roosters. Aliti has exploded onto the NRL the with her powerful running and damaging defence.

Alexandra Kiriwi also returns to Bears women’s team in 2020 after a great season. Alexandra is a hard running and hard tackling centre adding plenty of spark to the Bears back line.
