    ROUND 14: NSW CUP
    BEARS V SEA EAGLES

TEAM LIST: ROUND 14

We return to Bear Park this SATURDAY for our first clash with the Sea Eagles for the 2023 season. It’s a rivalry steeped in tradition and boy do us Bears love to beat Manly! Pull out your red & black kit, grab a flag from the merch tent on game day, fill the hill and cheer on the Bears. As our captain Zach Dockar-Clay said “the cheers of the crowd bring us home at Bear Park”.

We kick off the day at 9.30am with our local U7 junior league players joining us to play their first tackle games of the 2023 comp after completing their Tackle Ready Program. This program is run under the guidance of the NRL and teaches safe tackle techniques. Well done to all who have participated and what better place to play your first game than on historic North Sydney Oval.

Following at 11am, we have our first local derby A-Grade game with Willoughby Roos going up against Pennant Hills Stags. This will be a great game and we are so excited to see the North Sydney District A-Grade competition flourishing once again. FREE entry before 11am to the venue, come along and enjoy some good local footy.

The main game kicks off at 12.40pm with Bears v Sea Eagles in the Knock on Effect NSW Cup. We are calling all Bears members and fans to get on down to North Sydney Oval and Fill The Hill for Fox. Let’s pack the joint and show the NRL that the Bears deserve a place back in the top league. We are offering $15 Adult tickets that include entry and a complimentary sausage on a roll from our mates at The Greens BBQ. That’s lunch and a great game of footy sorted. Kids U16 go FREE. This is a Fox League televised game, so if you can’t make it to Bear Park tune in and watch live.
