With the glitz and glamour of Vegas now done, it’s time for the real season to begin and what a clanger of a game we have for Round 1 of the 2024 Knock-On Effect NSW Cup. We travel to Wollongong on Sunday to take on the Dragons who will be headed up by ex-Bear Jesse Marschke. Historically, we do not fair well at Collegians Sporting Complex but this year has a fresh feel and the boys are red hot and ready to rumble. Head Coach Weisner has the team training hard and with Kurt De Luis at our helm we are heading in a good direction. This season has a lot to live up to, after coming so close to the top prize in 2023, but our focus is on taking it one game at a time. Let’s bring the heat Bears!
