This Saturday we have an opportunity to square up against the Newtown Jets at Henson Park and not only nab a win but also bring home the Frank Hyde Shield. The Jets won game one of the 2025 series 12 – 24, which means we have to win by more than 12 points in order to bring home the silverware.
Our NSW Cup team enjoyed a BYE during round 17 while the Jets stacked on the points against the Bunnies. Both sides will be firing on all cylinders with the Bluebags having the home advantage. Bears are keen to progress up the ladder from our current spot in 8th and the Jets are eager to hold on to 4th spot, with all teams vying for the coveted top 5 positions. Nine games remain in the 2025 Knock-On Effect NSW Cup regular season.
